TPR Team Pedercini left the rain interrupted Catalan Test with work to so ahead of the WorldSBK season opener at MotorLand Aragon.

The team’s sole rider Loris Cresson and the team started positively, collecting useful data, and shaking off the winter cobwebs. Loris suffered a fall, thankfully without injury – the incident limiting the on-track running of the #84 on the opening day.

Returning to the track on Saturday, Loris again started positively but was unable to improve on his day one time due to falling rain. Despite the limited dry weather running, the team move to the final pre-season test at MotorLand Aragon ahead of the opening round of the 2022 FIM Superbike World Championship season confident of a strong showing.

Loris Cresson:
“It wasn’t the best two days of testing. We worked hard but the times don’t reflect our true potential. From the laps we did we are still not where we need to be in terms of the feeling I need, but on the other hand we only used race tyres. From my side I was happy with how I was riding but unfortunately, I crashed and then yesterday it rained. We will take all the positives and negatives and evaluate them and go again at Aragon in the final test before Round 1.”

Lucio Pedercini:
“Because of the crash on Friday we couldn’t do what we wanted to do. The weather didn’t help us, the cold and rain forcing everyone to finish the test ahead of time! We hope that the start of the championship is better. The main thing is that Loris is fit and ok after the crash.”
