TPR Team Pedercini leave the sixth round of the 2023 FIM Superbike World Championship with their first championship points of the season thanks to the efforts of their rider Isaac Vinales, who achieved fifteenth position in Saturday’s opening twenty-three lap encounter at Donington Park.

The UK Round of the series, at the venue where WorldSBK was born in 1988, is a special event and with over 50,000 fans packed into the 2.5-mile circuit, the team were able to produce their best results of the season.

A solid Superpole saw Vinales lapping closer to the front and when the lights went out, he was immediately in the mix. Points on the board on Saturday were almost matched on Sunday when Isaac crossed the line in sixteenth in race two, narrowly missing his second top fifteen of the weekend. He finished twenty first in the Superpole ‘sprint’ race.

The team is understandably buoyed by the results, great reward for their efforts this season, and satisfied to have been classified as the top independent Kawasaki team in both feature races!

Isaac Vinales:
“It has been a positive weekend. We made a big step compared to the previous races and managed to score points on Saturday. Being the first satellite Kawasaki rider and team to finish in both of the long races is very satisfying. I want to thank the team for their work and also thank the fans who were so passionate throughout the weekend.”

Lucio Pedercini – Team Principal:
“For us it was a good weekend, the best of our year so far. We closed the gap to the front and on Saturday we took our first points of the season. Isaac made three good races and to be the top satellite Kawasaki for us is a big achievement and we are happy. It is always nice to race in the UK and we hope that our pace will continue when we return to the track in Imola next week. We will continue to keep working hard and look forward to more strong weekends in the coming races.”
