Triple Top Twenty For Isaac Vinales In Most

A triple top twenty finish was the reward for the efforts of Isaac Vinales and TPR Team Pedercini at Autodrom Most this past weekend, the venue for the eighth round of the FIM Superbike World Championship.

Mixed conditions throughout the event made it tricky to maximise set-ups for all competitors but Isaac and the team worked well to ensure he has a good feeling from the very first practice session on Friday which saw him running inside the top five!

A solid Superpole ensured a respectable grid position which Isaac capitalised on to finish P18, P16 and P17 in the three races.

The team now heads into the summer break with a clear plan for the final races of the 2023 season and look forward to being back on track in France in September.

Isaac Vinales:
“It has been a positive weekend. We were very competitive in FP1 with the rain, being able to be in the top five where we were able to find a very good set up extremely quickly. I am so happy with the work of the team although we had some electronical problems in race one, but the team solved them perfectly for the Superpole race and race two. Even with the mistakes I made I was able to catch the group in front and I kept a solid pace that allowed me to beat them. This weekend was one more step forward so let’s see in France if we can keep the momentum going. Congratulations to the team we did a good job this weekend.”

Lucio Pedercini – Team Principal:
“All in all it wasn’t a bad weekend for us. The conditions were not ideal on Saturday and so we had to change tyres in the race, but we did it well and Isaac had good pace despite us not making the best choice. Also, yesterday in race two Isaac showed a good pace with a good lap time and our target is to fight with the other independent Kawasaki riders and we did this. Our objective is to continue to improve and to achieve the best results possible in the final three rounds, beginning after the summer break.”
